specks?.... or so much more....

Last night I had the opportunity of looking at the moon 
and Jupiter and it's five moons through a friend's telescope. 
Biggest telescope that I have looked through yet!....    

I could see the star light dimly illuminating the backside of the moon 
I could see the colors of the clouds on Jupiter 
The moons were bright little specks of light around it....    

and I could 'feel' how small the earth is 
hanging in space 
and how REALLY small I am 
a speck on that small planet.....    

And God came 
as a little baby....   
so small he could be held in two hands
God with a belly button....

God - experiencing Life
as a
person
in the cosmos He created....

and more
He not only experienced life
but
suffering
and
death.

Whoa.......

and He made it
so I get to be
adopted into His Family
and call me His
brother....
ref Heb 2:10-15
Wow.

Lord
The heavens declare Your Glory
Creation reflects Your Majesty
and Your genius....

and I love being
awestruck
by the thoughts
of You
coming
and making Yourself known
in the way that You did....
