This morning I was reminded again
that God looks on the inside.
David sinned.
Bad...
....Bathsheba....  :(

This morning I read his Psalm of Repentance....
Not a political retraction
Not an 'Ok you caught me.... Sooooory....'
but
a broken and contrite heart Lord....
Please, Oh Please don't take your Spirit
- like what happened to Saul....... :(

David cried out for;
           God's Presence
                  God's Holiness
                           God's Glory....

He would not live without God's presence.
"Please, Oh Please, Take my sin away
that I might return to You....." Psalm 51

Lord, Jesus,
Thank You for this story of
David
and Your restoration
Your heart
to transform mine.

You shine Your light on the dirt
That I might receive
Life in place of
death.

Yes,
Thank You Lord
