Good day, Black Creek Church Family,
On Friday last week, I experienced a blessing.
As many of you know, we have been doing a men's group every 2nd Friday since about 2012.  Lots of different focuses, lots of different people, but over the years guys have pulled together and made it 'their' group.   I often lead, but last Friday I had an unexpected stay-at-home migraine surprise.
2 phone calls, and the guys handled the meeting, got the meal got cooked and cleaned up, did the Bible study, teaching video, and prayer time.  And it all happened.... without me!

As a young man and into middle age, I was mostly a 'lone ranger'.
If it needed to happen, I made it happen.
As I 'mature' ..... I am finding life is way more enjoyable and 'doable' by walking in community with like-minded folks.  There is something very satisfying about finding out that I am not required to make it happen.
Good people, who kindly pick up where I drop the ball....
So thankful..... and I'm not a lone ranger anymore.

This week I am praying for more awareness of what the Holy Spirit is saying to me... in the moment.   Feel free to pray along with me!
1 Corinthians 12:14  For the body does not consist of one member but of many.
15  If the foot should say,  Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,  that would not make it any less a part of the body.
16  And if the ear should say,  Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,  that would not make it any less a part of the body.
17  If the whole body were an eye, where would be the sense of hearing? If the whole body were an ear, where would be the sense of smell?
18  But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose.
19  If all were a single member, where would the body be?
20  As it is, there are many parts, yet one body.
Step into your team
Let them know that you love being a part of their community.
'Body' life.
It's how God made us to thrive.
Blessings,
Peter Jackson
