Listen up!

I was wondering....

What was Sampson like as a 'judge'?    
We kinda hear the beginning and the end of his life and ministry 
but somewhere in there was 20 years of being 
the stabilizing force in Israel. see Judges 15:20      

I don't know. It's not recorded 

This man that God had chosen since before conception  
This man that was set apart (Nazarite vow)  
Who had superman power.....   

But who was taken out by the enemy through a 'blind spot'
that is often seen as a strength;
supreme confidence -> arrogance -> how could he fail?
Sampson 'played' with the enemy
and in the end it 'bit' him big time.

makes me ask myself.
What might I 'dabble with'?
What do I think might not be a 'big deal'...?
That could actually be a
game changer....
distruction.

Not sure.
...Maybe nothing right now...
But.

I choose
to be open
to even invite
- brothers 'calling me' on stuff
- God's word speaking to me
- Friends feeling confident they can 'speak into my life'.

and can I do the same?
Will I speak into those around me?

Lord,
This story is grievous
Sampson.
A strong man
who was not in 'team'
and he was taken out.

Lord, I choose to
listen
and hear
and respond
to Your direction and protection
through your messengers.
