This morning I was reading Isaiah
and caught an interesting verse...

A passage about the Messiah 700 years before He appears as a man...

Isa 11:1 A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse;
from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.
2 The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him
—the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and of power,
the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD—
3 and he will delight in the fear of the LORD.
He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes,
or decide by what he hears with his ears;
4 but with righteousness he will judge the needy,
with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth.
He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth;
with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked.
5 Righteousness will be his belt
and faithfulness the sash round his waist.

I thought that was interesting....
The normal means to determine
Right and Wrong
         - Sight and Sound...
     - The 'facts'
but apparently that is not all that determines
what it Right...
what is Just.

that got me to thinking...
What ARE the other 'facts' that He would judge by.....?

in Matthew 5 Jesus talks about
Judgment of 'murder' for anger vs 22
Damnation by 'fool' words vs 22
Capital crime for 'lust looking' vs 28

Heart stuff.
And Jesus judges based on that...

Lord,
You are the one who is true
and Knows the thoughts and intent of my
heart.

As David said;
Renew my heart
make me new
today.

Show me those places I
have hidden from even myself.

That I might live before You
unashamed.

Thank You
Lord

You are Righteous
You are Faithful

Yeah.
