This morning I was reading about Paul
telling those in Corinth
about how he just
'doesn't measure up' to their standard.....

- Isn't always strong
- Isn't always courageous
(lowered over a wall in the night to 'run away' from Damascus)
- Struggles with sin
- Stressed about the church
ref 2Cor 11:28-33

It reminded me
that when I disappoint people
it's not always BAD....

and I find that SOooooo hard to say.... :P

because deep in my core I love to PLEASE people

Yet, Paul
The man who saw heaven
Who evangelized Europe and the Middle East
The man who wrote much of the New Testament
for us to enjoy and be taught....

Disappointed People.

And in that place He discovered a Kingdom truth.

- Jesus to Paul about a weakness..... 2Cor 12
9 But He said to me,
"My grace is sufficient for you,
for My power is made perfect in weakness."

Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses,
so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

10 That is why,
for Christ’s sake,

I delight in weaknesses,
  in insults,
    in hardships,
      in persecutions,
        in difficulties.

For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Lord Jesus,
This area of pride in my life...
That I make everyone happy with me....
I get it.

I choose to walk and listen
and
obey

even when it means I will probably be
misunderstood... :(

I trust You
That You are doing a work in me
And that others salvation doesn't depend
on me being

perfect....
.........as if... :P

Thank You Jesus

for making your light shine brighter
through my cracked life.
