Good day, Black Creek Church Family,

This week, somehow my 'Saturday' happened on Monday!

I suspect that may have happened to you too!
On the way to the Hangar Tuesday morning I heard there was a 3 sailing wait in Duke Point to get off the Island.
Wow, I feel privileged to not have to travel to experience this amazing place that God has made.
Over the past few weeks, Donna and I visited a couple of spots to go for walks.
Paradise Meadows (still snow on the trail) and Nymph Falls.
(It would be fun hearing where some of your favourite-to-visit spots are.)

AND, when the day is done, I ask myself what is it that was special?
A Blessing? A Moment? A feeling of Joy or Pleasure?
I think of moments when God was 'close', friends were near, and the troubles of the world were not all mine.
This Sunday is Grad Sunday. Come and hear our Grad's dreams and thoughts.

Pray for them as they step out of the 'nest' and into the world of being Adults!
Here is a 'classic' scripture that speaks to the Peace of God... no matter what.
Psalm 23:1 A Psalm of David.
The LORD [is] my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul:
he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
I learned it in King James Words and it seems to 'sing' to my heart a little more in that style.
I remember reading these words to my mom as I visited her in the hospital.
Words of hope and peace,
Blessings on you this week,
Peter Jackson
