Good day, Black Creek Community Church,

This week, I entered into the 'conflict zone'.

I had some friends covering for me with prayer.
As I entered the 'zone'
I asked lots of questions and tried to listen.
I know that I am NOT super skilled at this, .... so I walk carefully (I hope).
That way, I'm not too surprised if I get 'bumped' and have to apologize.

Conflict. Shy away or enter in.....?
Avoid at all costs.... or choose to see possible gains on the 'other side'....

This week at church is a Baptism in the tank.

Come and share in some folk's journey of Choosing Jesus.
Thanks to all on behalf of Camp Bob for last Sunday's Worship, Lunch and Fundraiser. So many people helping made it an easy event.

Coming up: Camp Bob Work Day is May 9th - For those who would like to help out in some super practical ways. Lunch included.

Pray for our world, so full of conflict and conflict avoidance.... That the Peace of Christ would change hearts...
So how did it go?
Time will tell. Not much changes in one meeting.
I will need to 'check in' with a few people after emotions subside a bit.
I believe that God is up to good stuff..... in me and in others.
This is a hard passage, but Paul had relational 'currency' with Peter and the authority to stop what was happening.

Galatians 2:11 But when Cephas came to Antioch,
I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned.
12 For before certain men came from James, he was eating with the Gentiles;
but when they came he drew back and separated himself, fearing the circumcision party.
13 And the rest of the Jews acted hypocritically along with him,
so that even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy.
14 But when I saw that their conduct was not in step with the truth of the gospel,
I said to Cephas before them all,
If you, though a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you force the Gentiles to live like Jews?
Listening well, speaking truth, and praying for better ways to do life.
Blessings as you step forward in your own world that sometimes comes with conflict.
Our Lord be with you on the journey,
Peter Jackson
