Yesterday I was teaching on God the Father....

God calls himself "I AM" in Exodus 3:13-15
but this morning I read the name He addresses himself
to the nation of Israel and is used most frequently in the OT about Himself

YHWH
ref Ex 6:3

Translated LORD all uppercase in most English versions....
Lots of speculation as to how it is pronounced
Yahweh, Jehovah being the most common ways

But the name is a description...
- The one who exists.
- The one who is
or
- To Be

.....no wonder He said,
"I AM is sending you (Moses)."

Oh LORD,
I tremble at Your Name
You.
Pre-Existent One
Before all things, holding all things together
the one before Time
Who IS.

and You reached into time
and chose
me
speck in the universe of time and space

Thank You.
LORD God Almighty.

I honour and glorify You
as My King and Master
and...
Father.

Thank You.
