Submission

When Jesus was a boy he stayed behind in Jerusalem to 'be in His Father's house' - the temple.  When Joseph and Mary found Him, 'He went down to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them'.  Luke 2:41-52

What strikes me is that Jesus, knowing who He was, submitted to His earthly guardians.  He with all authority, master and creator.... submitted to them.  Not because they had more authority, but because it was the right thing to do.

O, Lord, Whom do I need to submit to today? out of honour.
