This morning as I was listening to Psalm 65
it reminded me of a conversation I had with Dad
a few years before he went to be with Jesus...

I arrived at Mom and Dad's home late in the night.
I didn't expect to see anyone
but just go to bed and greet them in the morning.
Dad was up on a late night 'prowl'
and after we greeted he proceeded to tell me
about a walk in the bushland by their house
that he had taken that day....
He described how the trees and the grass and the flowers
were 'speaking' to the Lord,
The King....
Declaring His Worship and giving Him Glory.

It gave me goose bumps knowing that for Dad
the 'veil' between this world and the next
was getting much thinner.
He was seeing things through eyes that saw past the 'natural'..
He was experiencing life more and more from
Heaven's perspective..

This morning I listened to David's words of the bounty
and abundance God causes in Creation
and how it responds to Him...
Psalm 65:11
Thou crownest the year with thy goodness;
and thy paths drop fatness.
12 They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness:
and the little hills rejoice on every side.
13 The pastures are clothed with flocks;
the valleys also are covered over with corn;
they shout for joy,
they also sing.

Jesus said if the people did not declare Your glory
even the stones would cry it out.... ref Lk 19:40

O Lord,
To perceive the song of LIFE
that hears and tastes and sees
creation's response to You
the Lord
Originator
- Source for all.

I 'open' my ears
I 'open' my eyes
I 'open' my heart
to be present to You
The focus and object of this
symphony
of
worship.

Yes, My Lord.
and
I participate.
