God's purpose

Jesus spoke of John the Baptist's ministry and declared, "...the Pharisees and experts in the law rejected God's purpose for themselves, because they had not been baptized by John." Luke7:30

What!??

Context of John's message:
- Repent (opposite of pride)
- Declare the change (Baptism - visible expression of I can't, He can)
- Follow Jesus (day by day discipleship).

My Revelation:
Even 'experts' can't experience God's purpose and plans when self (instead of submission) is the route used.

O Lord,
I bend my knee,
to hear, to be changed, 
to Know and Walk in Your ways.
