Recess time.....

The other day I had a conversation.... 
Someone challenged me to be able to  
Play.  
Play as a child... 
Have fun with  
- Lego 
- Sand castles 
- Imagination 
- Forts and tents 
and lots more.... 

and as I do that 
I can enter into the world of children. 

Jesus challenged me 
this morning he spoke 4x about children... 
- welcome a child - welcome Jesus - context - 'greatness' Mk 9:37 
- cause for sin in little children - great judgment Mk 9:42 
- Kingdom belongs to such as these Mk 10:14
- Receive the kingdom like a child.... or not at all Mk 10:15
read Mark 9:33 - 10:16

My granddaughter is coming to visit this week.
How will I play?
How will I engage?
What values do I need to shift?
What is important?
In her sight.
In God's sight

Hmmm...

Lord Jesus,
Thanks for bringing me back to
simplicity.
imagination.
vulnerability.
space and contentment

I choose to learn
and listen....

and play.
