Old and new... the same?

So often I think of the Old Testament as something very different from what Jesus brings.  His New Covenant, New 'wine'.....

Jesus said, "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. .....not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished." Matthew 5:17-18

He who IS the Law and the Words of the prophets, will fulfill them.   Old and New both wrapped up in Jesus...
