My God is so.....

Listening to Job's response to his wife about how he should honour God or not.. "Shall we accept good from God and not trouble?" Job 2:10   
Made me think.....

The writer to the Hebrews tells me 'do not lose heart when he rebukes you, because the Lord disciplines those he loves.' Hebrews 12:4-11

Later in vs 11 he tells me 'No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.'

Sometimes I would rather 'My God' would be a 'Santa Claus' instead of Father who is transforming me into the image of His Son...

Until I remember that He has so much more for me....
