more information.... is not what I need.

Yesterday I was thinking on the soil / heart connection
that impacts my understanding the kingdom mysteries Jesus speaks of (sometimes in parables)   
His gives 'clues' to understanding the 'sower and the seed'... Mark 4:11-13   

This morning.... Again.    
Jesus talks.
They murmur, "What does He mean?"
He responds, "Check You Heart - is it hard?
Is that why you don't understand?
You have eyes, You have ears, You have a memory
but none of them seem to work....
Look, Listen, remember...." ref Mark 8:14-21

Jesus was talking about the problem that the Religious leaders had....
Blocked situational awareness.
- asking for another sign
when all the signs they needed were there....
was really part of the cycle of
Unbelief

So, if I don't understand....
Check my heart.

The disciples didn't bring bread
Jesus warns of yeast.....
Is He chastising them for not bringing bread....?
.....But He is the 'Miracle Bread Maker'!

Listen
Remember....
Check my heart for unbelief...
He is the one who supplies all I need....
So...
What am I missing out on because I am not bringing Jesus into my solution?

Lord,
Your presence is in my situation...
You are my 'solution'
But I so often miss it.
I ride over it by stabbing at the problem
with my own fixes...

I want to change that way of doing life....

to You
Listen
for You
Remember
what You have done
and have a heart that believes....
