Mine.... all mine...

This morning I was reading Moses' instructions 
to a Nation that was getting their 'inheritance'...        

They were receiving assets that others had developed and established 
they were 'Winning the Loto'......     

And the warning from Moses was, 
'Watch out....      
when you are 'rich' that you don't say to yourselves,  
' - I did this'    
- I am powerful    
- I don't need God    
because I am in control of life.... yeah.' '   

Moses reminded them
that when the 'good life' comes along
the tendency is towards;
- Entitlement
- Self absorption
and Pride

and that a
- submissive
- humble heart
towards the Creator
can't exist in that environment.....
ref Deut 8:10-18

Lord Jesus,
I am reminded of Your promises to Me
to bless me
and to establish me

and I know it is not my
strength or wisdom
or 'charisma'
that have brought favour into my life...

It is
You.

I submit my heart
and life to You
I thank You
and Bless Your Name

I recognize that all I have
is blessing from You
and not even really MINE....

Blessed be Your Name
In the land that is plentiful
or in the land that is difficult
Blessed be Your Name.
