Hi, to all those who are a part of the body in Black Creek and beyond... even to the ends of the earth!

This week I was blessed by a letter in our post box.
It was addressed to "Mr and Mrs Homeowner".  Written by hand.
Inside was a small letter on notepaper where the lady said that they often drive by our driveway and have noticed the sign that Donna put up in the summer.  They were so blessed by the artistry and thoughtfulness to the addition to our property that she was prompted to write and thank us.... And she signed her name and left a business card so we would know who it was!
It reminded me that passing on blessing is just obedience to the prompting to stretch past my 'normal box' and do something a bit out of the ordinary.

Announcements:
- Capernwray Harbour Bible School is offering numerous getaway options for this summer.  Check them out on the web.  Capernwray.ca

- Camp Bob is doing a 'mask fundraiser'  (See the attachment) They are made of high-quality cotton with a design that won’t fog your glasses or get stuck in your mouth.  They have a metal nose bridge and the elastic straps are adjustable to customize your fit.
Camp Bob is grateful for your $15 purchase for each mask.  To place your order and have it mailed to you, please email Laura Johnston at dl_johnston@shaw.ca or check out her Facebook page at Laura Beck Johnston.

Easter:
As we expected some significant relief from isolation going into Easter's time of Celebrating of Christ's work on our behalf, we were somewhat surprised and disappointed at the adjustments made for Churches and places of worship during this season.
In light of the latest Provincial Health Order and Exemptions:

We WILL be offering a time of personal reflection at the church which will be open on Good Friday from 10 am to 2 pm.
Come, pray, meditate, partake of personal communion.
Please sign in including checking Covid self-health check.
Please do not arrive or leave in groups other than your home bubble, please do not visit when here.
There will be soft music playing and self-serve communion packs for those who wish to partake.

We WILL be offering an Easter Sunday Sunrise outside service.
The service will begin at 07:00 am in the back parking lot of the church.
Dress appropriately.  There will be a fire, but social distancing will be practiced.
Please sign up and read the requirements of this regulated event at the bottom of the signup sheet.

We WILL be offering two inside services - early -  9:30 am and late - 11 am service.
These events will be limited to 22 person's total per service.
We are working out the logistics of music, multimedia, etc. and hope to have room to have 16 - 18 persons be able to attend each service.
As there will be Children's Education in the basement, please allow parents to sign-in first to accommodate this - (up until Friday Noon... After then all positions shall be open for signup).
Please sign up and read the requirements of this regulated event at the bottom of the signup sheet.

We WILL be offering Children's Education in the basement at 9:30 am
A reminder to let parents sign in for the upstairs service (before Friday Noon).
Please sign up and read the requirements of this regulated event at the bottom of the signup sheet.

As is often the case, Our Lord walks with us in situations that are not what we want, maybe not even what we need.... but He Never leaves us in these times.

Hebrews 13 reminds me:
1 Let brotherly love continue.
2  Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers,
for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
3  Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them,
and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body.
4  Let marriage be held in honour among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled,
for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.
5  Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have,
for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
6  So we can confidently say,
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear;
what can man do to me?”
7  Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God.
Consider the outcome of their way of life,
and imitate their faith.
8  Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Finally.....
