Kingdom of life
This morning I was thinking of some of the mindsets
that bring richness and fulfillment to life....
Generosity,
Kindness,
Grace towards self and others....
and then I noticed Jesus was speaking about that.
Not new words (sermon on the mount)
but a new way to view them...
hear them...
'Don't pursue the things of the world
that's a deadend.
...in fact as you give up those things
and seek the Kingdom of God
life will become richer, fuller
and the treasures I receive
will be the kind that increase with use...'
The instruction that impacted me was the
'Seek the Kingdom' part.
What does that look like?
He talks about me choosing it as my treasure
instead of the 'world things'...
Seek the Kingdom
He tells me the Father wants to give it to me
It won't be 'elusive'
Seek the Kingdom
Hmm...
read about it in Luke 12:22-34
Jesus said the Kingdom is
around me or in me... Lk 17:21
That's a pretty good starting place to look...
Jesus lives in me
the Kingdom is in me....
Seek Him?!
Listen to Him
Know Him.....
be obedient to Him
That is
Seeking the Kingdom.....
Lord Jesus,
I think I 'get it'....
Your Kingdom come
Your will be done
here
in my life
as it is
in Heaven.
As I look to You
and choose to make my treasure
Your Kingdom
in me.
You
in me.
I step into eternity
Today.
Yeah.
