Father

In Ezekiel the judgement, wrath, anger of God is BIG.  I sometimes wonder, 'Wow, do I really know this God?'.....  loving, and yet wrathful... at sin...  My culture, and relationship framework doesn't make it easy to embrace both.

Hebrews 12 talks about a father disciplining his son.  Instruction through hardship.  Not pleasant.... and yet producing a harvest of righteousness.
And he gives an instruction: don't miss this grace of God by letting a bitter root grow that causes trouble and defiles many.  12:4-15

Wow. that's an instruction for now. For me....

I guard my heart today Father.
