Good day, Black Creek Church Family,

This week has been up and down.

Someone courageously poked into my world and reminded me that members of my brother Charles's team

are working through their own grief, fatigue, questions, and might be feeling isolated.

When I thought about this, it helped me to shift to see this as an

Opportunity to build stronger relational bridges with people I love.

An 'excuse', as it were, to check in more often.  To ask some 'how are you doing?' questions.

In the aftermath of the Tumbler Ridge tragedy and crisis, I realize even more.... that each day is a gift.

Connecting with my family and loved ones is a privilege that can quickly slip away.

Donna is leaving for Cambodia late this Sunday.

She will be gone for almost 4 weeks... unless the plan changes!

I am thankful she is able to go and be a helpful friend and 'sister in the Lord' for Anita.

Please continue to pray for Charles' recovery.  Muscle function as well as memory and cognition.

James:4:13 Come now, you who say,

“Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”—

14 yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring.

What is your life?

For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord,

plans for welfare and not for evil,

to give you a future and a hope.

As I walk into God's plans this coming week

My hope and prayer is that you too will hear His voice

and experience His provision

Blessings,

Peter Jackson
