Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you; My Peace I give you.... not as the world gives..."  John 14:27

Peace - My lexicon defines it as: the tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and content with its earthly lot, of whatsoever sort that is

Somehow as accurate as that might be it doesn't communicate the settled, established, rock solid, no matter what, sense of 'I am right with God and my world' peace.....
