Keep me close.

King Asa loved and served God all his life..... until the end.  In the thirty-ninth year of his reign, Asa was diseased in his feet, and his disease became severe. Yet even in his disease he did not seek the LORD, but sought help from physicians. 2 Chronicles 16:7-12

Oh, Lord, I take note that a close walk with You is not a 'given'.  What was, does not assure what will be.
I choose humility today.
