Happy Friday dear Black Creek Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I trust that your week has been one where the Favour of God has been seen in little and maybe big things.
I got an unexpected customer request on Wednesday and spent the day doing sheet metal repairs and projects on a Dehavland Beaver at the Courtenay Airpark.  What a fun day, grinding, drilling, cutting and sanding.

Our Youth / Children ministries groups continue to meet in person for the blessing of safe interaction, fun and encouragement.  Thanks to those leaders who have taken on this task with the extra protocols that it takes to do this well.

Continue to pray for those who are ill or in difficult circumstances.
For our leaders as they determine when it will be safe for people to begin to meet together.   Pray for that to be soon!
Ronda has asked for prayer for complete healing (lots of healing to go).... and revival.  Yes Lord!

A reminder that we will be having our Zoom AGM this Sunday at 7:00 PM.
Please register at:

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.   You may register anytime right up until the meeting starts - Mar 7, 2021, 07:00 PM Black Creek Time (which is similar to Pacific Standard Time)

The AGM package document is in the 'Who We Are' section under 'In-house-policies'.  (Password is the normal one) Please note that there are some slight changes in the agenda order and additional reports from last week's document.
Please have this document available for the meeting on Sunday.  We will not be reading the reports in the meeting.
We will refer to it for motions and the general meeting format.  If you are having any trouble registering or getting the document, email or call me.

This morning I was impressed by Daniel's choice of words when responding to a great question of the king...
2:26  The king said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, “Are you able to make known to me the dream that I have seen and its interpretation?”
27  Daniel answered the king and said, “No wise men, enchanters, magicians, or astrologers can show to the king the mystery that the king has asked,
28  but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries, and he has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days.

Daniel all his days was a man of humility and God's wisdom.  He kept the understanding of his importance and power in perspective.  God first.  God always....   Even / especially In the midst of serving a 'Godless' empire and emperor.

Oh Lord, I choose humility and Your wisdom for this day and for this time.

*Note that this Sunday's Service includes Communion.  You might want to have a bit of toast and juice ready for then.

Blessings as you receive what you need for this day,
Looking forward to seeing you Sunday Evening 7:00 at the AGM
