Good day, Black Creek Church Family,
This week I am enjoying time with Donna again.  Charles and Anita are home in Edmonton, and all 3 are working through the 15 hr time change from Cambodia.
I am currently working through the challenges of 'getting back in shape' - being intentional and creating room in my schedule and habits to become more physically fit
I realize that another part of this journey is to build mental/spiritual fitness.
- Both require being intentional about what to 'eat'
- Both 'Stretch muscles' that aren't 'optimal' - brain and body
- Both require I look after other needs like sleep, rest, healthy recreation, margins...
And....(one of my biggest challenges).... Motivation and discipline to do it today (not tomorrow)
Thanks to all who attended the Annual General Meeting on Sunday.  We heard from and thanked many of our ministry leaders, and also passed our 2026 budget.
Thank you too for your continued support and prayers for Charles and Anita in this new stage of recovery back home in Edmonton.  He is presently waiting approximately a week to be assessed for what OT they will have him do.
My elliptical exerciser, walking, good posture, pushing my limits - heart and lungs
Scripture reading, prayer and reflection, memorization, taking thoughts captive, being intentional about what kind and how much 'news' I 'eat'.
1 Timothy 4:7  Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths.
Rather train yourself for godliness;

8  for while bodily training is of some value,

godliness is of value in every way,
as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.
9  The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance.
                                                       and
Philippians 4:8  Finally, brothers, whatever is true,
whatever is honourable, whatever is just,
whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable,
if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise,
think about these things.
9  What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me
practice these things,
and the God of peace will be with you.
Blessings as you challenge your daily routine to
grow 'fit' - physically, mentally, and spiritually,
Peter Jackson
