Good day, Black Creek Church Family,

Donna and I shopped for groceries this past Sunday for the last week of camp.

Full on youth camp.
LOTs of food and fun.
I enjoyed watching some roughhousing
and hard play.

Part of me felt like joining in... but a (wise) voice in my head reminded me that being a quiet observer was probably better....

This is the last week
And staff are tired .....

Pray for staff and youth campers, that each would hear the Lord
- in His word
- in His creation
- in His servants who love well.
The theme this summer has been around the prodigal son.
Pray for real conversations about what that might look like in their lives.
Luke 15:31 And he (the father) said to him (the eldest),
"Son, you are always with me,
and all that is mine is yours.
32 It was fitting to celebrate and be glad,
for this your brother was dead, and is alive;
he was lost, and is found."
Profound thoughts about the position and posture of both sons
This week I wonder what it might look like to reach out to someone who creates difficulties for others...
Blessings as you ponder difficult relationships
May the love and wisdom of Jesus be your peace, and a way forward.
in Him,
Peter Jackson
