Hello Black Creek Church Community,

It's been a windy blustery April 'unsettled' weather week. I find these good days to take a little break and reflect.

I have been thinking about how to include a bit more 'downtime' in my weekly schedule. Jesus, the man who actually did have to save the world   took time out to spend with His Father  and I suspect just hung out with His disciples.

I am finding that as I get older I don't stress about timelines as much as I used to. That's Good and bad Good - I am not stressing (as much) Bad - I take on things that I can't get to for sometimes a very long time....  (maybe never?)

Part of me wonders how Jesus managed.... But then I actually know the answer.....   He tells me in scripture.

Every morning, every day He got up and walked into whatever happened  knowing that the Father would specifically instruct Him.   What to say, John 7:16, 8:26, 14:10 What to do - Cleansed the temple Where to be - When to go to Galilee, and what route - Samaria How long to wait. - When Lazarus died

Never too late, never too much, no fear of missing out.

Hey this week have some fun and invite someone in... or just check in with them on the phone. I keep hearing great stories of people in our community doing just THAT!   Well done.

One of the things I love about praying for folks is wondering how God will provide, change the situation  or just show up in a way I didn't expect. Keep on being Praying Curious!

So Jesus had an inside track....   He had the Father leading the way. And now we do too.   So amazing.   John 14:25  “These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. 26  But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name,  he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. 27  Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.  Not as the world gives do I give to you.  Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

Blessings as you choose to lean into everything He has for you this coming week.
