This morning I was reading a Psalm...
Skimming really...
thinking of other things while I read...
and I almost missed the main message.

"His Steadfast Love Endures Forever"

I 'read' it almost 26 x before I stopped
and got it.....
- are you kidding?! :P

Psalm 136
You know the one.
The one that repeats that phrase after every verse.

And I was distracted
and my eyes saw it
but my brain didn't 'hear' it.....

and then I went back
and read it again.

Lord, I open my eyes
to You today.

I choose to be present to You
and hear Your message

Your Love
in the midst of tumult and distraction

Your Love
in the quiet moments

Your Love
is Steadfast
and
endures forever.
