Good day, Black Creek Church family,

This week I have been reflecting on 'team' and what happens when a team member consistently misses the mark of what is expected.

Some of the things that I asked myself were:

- How have I communicated expectations and responsibilities?

- Are these challenges about personality or 'performance'?

- How far should grace extend before 'boundaries' get reinforced?

- Who's responsibility is it to establish those things?

Wow, that almost sounds like 'parenting'

The other day I heard a definition of Spiritual Maturity...

Increasing Love....

Colossians 3:12    Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience,
13  bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
14  And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.
15  And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.
16  Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
17  And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

This Saturday, May 11th is a Camp Bob Work Day from 9:30 - 3:30  Lunch is supplied

No RVSP required.  Come for the morning, or afternoon or all day!

This Sunday is Mother's day.  Celebrate the 'Moms' in your life...

Pray without ceasing....  There's lots to lift to our Lord.

Doing the hard work of communicating well,

caring much,

building rapport and relationship...

that I might be the fragrance of Christ... wherever I am.

Lord Jesus, help me work through the complexities of team.

Help me to love appropriately those who aren't carrying their responsibilities well.

Help me to be wise and kind.

Thank you Lord.

Blessings on your week as you engage the challenges of life

In Him,

Peter Jackson
